little tempurung people stole my glasses!
cause Mel told me to kidnap one of them back for her.. >p
actually, i lost them during a trip to Gua Tempurung, Perak on a church youth trip. though it takes only four words to say 'hike through the cave', don't let it fool you into thinking there's no extra exertion involved. sure, there are stairs...flights and flights of stairs til you're so high up (and so out of breath) you delusionally think that you're running out of oxygen. after all that hiking, there's a break in the form of sliding down a short slope then jumping (not literally of course) through a hole in the floor to lower ground where the river is. this is the fun part.



we alternately wade or float in the water where the roof is too low for us to crawl and you know what, it's better than Sunway Lagoon! :p this cave comes with nature powered water slide (nevermind what's in the water including bat droppings >_<) and that is where i lost my specs. the first time i tried it out, my specs were tucked safely (or so i thought) in my pocket. after 'slide', tada! it's gone. so i figure, what the heck, go for a second, third and fourth round just to make it worth losing my specs for.. >p



that was four days ago. what the- i've been half blind for 4 days while watching korean serials plus staring at this screen summore..no wonder my power went up. T_T
on the positive side, results came out today. no, i'm not happy they're out. i'm just happy i passed..yep! i passed! woohoo! i get to continue my journey to UTAR! waitaminute..how come it doesn't sound like such a reward all of a sudden?? heavy weightloads of assignments, frantically scribbling notes, sudden quizzes.. @_@ no, no, i'm still happy i passed..at least i didn't let my parents down. but wait til the cgpa comes..then, more stuff for me to complain about..haha



orientation begins tomorrow.. dunno what to expect. all i know is, i'm not placing high hopes on the building. they're just converted factory buildings spaced far apart. none of TARC's nice wide, rolling fields and nicely clustered layout. :( oh well, what will be, will be..



hmm..maybe the bats stole my glasses instead. you know bats are short-sighted, right?

homefree...and restless
i'm home~ but to those of you who know my itchy feet, it won't be long til i get restless or am out the door again. which brings me to why i loved the hostel so much.
-no one questioning me on when and why i'm going out
-so many 'new environments' to visit
-mamak within walking distance (eat and digest all in one go!)
-you're living with your friends..that's why!
well, i checked out last tuesday. Cynthia was with me while i was "packing" and checking out and everything. when i got home, i was already hostel-sick. so i went to sleep. (plus i was tired out with my owl-like sleeping pattern) and woke up in the evening and decided to pluck up the courage to ask my mom for permission to go to Genting.
she said 'yes'.
there's a first for everything! so off i go again, to Genting at 7 in the morning, Wednesday. we had fun alright...played on all the rides like mad eventhough it rained (fine, i only photographed the Solero Shot..too chicken to try it out >p). the whole thing came to about RM100 or less..not bad..
*tip: bring lots and lots of junkfood.
the night was the craziest and though we said we wouldn't sleep, most of us were out by 1am. lol...
right, since i'm gonna be home for at least 2 weeks from now, i guess more posts should be up-and-coming though there could be the opposite effect with me being so bored at home and nothing to blog. >_<
wish me luck with the exam results, people! i need to pass everything pretty well to get to UTAR!
